Susan grew up in Nashua, New Hampshire, and received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, New Hampshire. After leading the sales division as the VP of Sales and driving business for CornerStone Staffing for 20 years, she was asked to open CornerStone Medical.
This opportunity hit a personal note for Susan because her mother was a recovery room nurse in Nashua. She learned from her mother the demands of being a nurse and the dedication a healthcare professional has to their patients.
That is why Susan and her team of medical staffing professionals are committed to finding the right positions and the best career opportunities to help healthcare professionals prosper and support their families. The Cornerstone Medical team listens to their customers closely and aligns themselves with them to provide the right employee each and every time.
Harrison Dooley
Clinical Business Development Manager
Harrison provides brand awareness through clinical business development for CornerStone Medical throughout the nation. He is a native Texan. For the past four years, he has worked with nonprofit charities that provide financial assistance to families with children who are battling significant medical challenges.
He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010 with a major in business administration and minors in marketing and marketing professional sales while also playing collegiate golf.
After graduation, he began working in the medical staffing field recruiting nurses. He piloted an autism program, developing policies and procedures for the BCBA/ABA providers to follow as it pertained to the patient’s plan of care.
He has a strong passion for the ever-changing world of healthcare and helping others achieve their goals. He prides himself on his ability to build relationships and solve client staffing needs as quickly as possible.
Erica Escobar
Clinical Recruitment Manager
As the Clinical Recruitment Manager for CornerStone Medical, Erica provides a custom, specialized candidate experience while making her hiring managers needs a top priority. After attending the University of New Mexico, where she focused on Business Management, she learned the skillful art of recruiting to help people obtain their dream career and match them with premier companies.
Erica has over ten years of recruitment and staffing experience, with the last eight years focused on healthcare. She has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies including, IBM where she was responsible for staffing the United Healthcare account, before becoming a corporate recruiter for Cornerstone Healthcare Group. While at CHG she was responsible for staffing clinical, allied health, administrative and executive level roles for 26 acute care facilities nationwide.
Tez Williams
Clinical Recruitment Manager
Tez has been with CornerStone Medical since November 2017. He has spent ten years in the healthcare industry, the last two years as a healthcare recruiter. He developed skills for recruiting, training and managing pipelines of 10-50 clinicians at a time while working for Fortune 500 companies. He also gained experience working multiple verticals within the healthcare industry such as allied health, clinical and non-clinical.
As the Clinical Recruitment Manager, his main objective is to locate talented clinicians who are amazing at what they do and match them with their dream jobs. He serves his candidates to the best of his ability, always going the extra mile to locate the best career opportunities in the marketplace. He once even brought a can of gas to a travel nurse stuck on the side of the road on the FIRST day of her assignment!
Tez graduated from Northwestern State University in Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science.
Andy Vereeke
Clinical Business Development Manager
As a sales professional Andy has worked in a number of industries including IT, advertising and energy sales. Andy is adept at understanding his client’s needs so he can ensure that his client’s needs are always met. As a native Texan born and raised in Dallas, Andy is very familiar with the Dallas Fort Worth market and the supply and demand fluctuations for healthcare employees. Andy is a committed runner and while not running during his time off he remains close with his family and friends and enjoys playing golf with his Dad on the weekends. Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas Wesleyan University.
Brittni Armstrong
Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant for CornerStone Medical, Brittni provides the critical support needed to run our day to day operation. Brittni is in charge of candidate on-boarding ensuring that all healthcare professionals credentialing documents are relevant and in compliance for the specific position they are working. Brittni is originally from Memphis TN where she graduated from Remington College as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. She has worked in the medical field for many years in support roles such as medical assistant, medical receptionist, administrator and care giver.
Andrew Austin
Clinical Recruitment Manager
Andrew has been in the healthcare recruitment industry for 7+ years, specifically in Healthcare IT. Andrew is use to the high volume recruiting environment and thrives in communicating the needs of not only the client but also the consultant. Andrew excels in connecting with his clients and consultants alike on a personal and professional level in order to create a lifelong relationship. He is a native Texan who is obsessed with all Dallas, Texas professional sports teams and a self-proclaimed trivia whiz. Andrew is a proud father to his 4 year old autistic son Landon who he stays active with on the weekends. Andrew graduated from TCU in 2012 with a major in Sociology and Minor in Spanish. When he is not busy in the office, Andrew likes to run, workout and travel to different parts of the world with his significant other.
