Susan DeGuire brings decades of sales leadership, strategic planning, and relationship-building experience to her role as Senior Vice President of CornerStone Medical. Before helping launch CornerStone Medical, Susan spent 20 years leading the sales division and driving business growth for CornerStone Staffing. Her extensive experience in developing client relationships, understanding business needs, and building high-performing teams laid the foundation for her leadership in healthcare staffing.

For Susan, healthcare staffing is more than a business—it is personal. Growing up in Nashua, New Hampshire, she witnessed firsthand the dedication and compassion required in healthcare through her mother, who worked as a recovery room nurse. That experience gave Susan a lasting appreciation for the vital role healthcare professionals play in the lives of their patients and families.

Today, Susan is passionate about bringing talented healthcare professionals and the organizations that need them together. She believes successful staffing goes beyond filling an open position; it means understanding each client's unique needs, identifying the right fit, and building partnerships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and results.

Tez has been with CornerStone Medical since November 2017. He has spent ten years in the healthcare industry, the last two years as a healthcare recruiter. He developed skills for recruiting, training and managing pipelines of 10-50 clinicians at a time while working for Fortune 500 companies. He also gained experience working multiple verticals within the healthcare industry such as allied health, clinical and non-clinical.

As the Clinical Recruitment Manager, his main objective is to locate talented clinicians who are amazing at what they do and match them with their dream jobs. He serves his candidates to the best of his ability, always going the extra mile to locate the best career opportunities in the marketplace. He once even brought a can of gas to a travel nurse stuck on the side of the road on the FIRST day of her assignment!

Tez graduated from Northwestern State University in Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science.

As the Administrative Assistant for CornerStone Medical, Brittni provides the critical support needed to run our day to day operation. Brittni is in charge of candidate on-boarding ensuring that all healthcare professionals credentialing documents are relevant and in compliance for the specific position they are working. Brittni is originally from Memphis TN where she graduated from Remington College as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. She has worked in the medical field for many years in support roles such as medical assistant, medical receptionist, administrator and care giver.

David has been in healthcare recruiting for 2 years, placing candidates in all areas of a Hospital/Clinic.  He enjoys building strong relationships with his candidates/clients, while helping fill important assignments in his community.  David is originally from Galveston, TX but relocated in 2005 to the DFW area to play Baseball in college.  David graduated from Northwood University in 2009 with a BBA.  He enjoys watching all of Houston sports team, playing Golf and spending time on the weekend with his family.
