Susan grew up in Nashua, New Hampshire, and received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, New Hampshire. After leading the sales division as the VP of Sales and driving business for CornerStone Staffing for 20 years, she was asked to open CornerStone Medical.
This opportunity hit a personal note for Susan because her mother was a recovery room nurse in Nashua. She learned from her mother the demands of being a nurse and the dedication a healthcare professional has to their patients.
That is why Susan and her team of medical staffing professionals are committed to finding the right positions and the best career opportunities to help healthcare professionals prosper and support their families. The Cornerstone Medical team listens to their customers closely and aligns themselves with them to provide the right employee each and every time.
Tez Williams
Clinical Recruitment Manager
Tez has been with CornerStone Medical since November 2017. He has spent ten years in the healthcare industry, the last two years as a healthcare recruiter. He developed skills for recruiting, training and managing pipelines of 10-50 clinicians at a time while working for Fortune 500 companies. He also gained experience working multiple verticals within the healthcare industry such as allied health, clinical and non-clinical.
As the Clinical Recruitment Manager, his main objective is to locate talented clinicians who are amazing at what they do and match them with their dream jobs. He serves his candidates to the best of his ability, always going the extra mile to locate the best career opportunities in the marketplace. He once even brought a can of gas to a travel nurse stuck on the side of the road on the FIRST day of her assignment!
Tez graduated from Northwestern State University in Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science.
Andy Vereeke
Clinical Business Development Manager
As a sales professional Andy has worked in a number of industries including IT, advertising and energy sales. Andy is adept at understanding his client’s needs so he can ensure that his client’s needs are always met. As a native Texan born and raised in Dallas, Andy is very familiar with the Dallas Fort Worth market and the supply and demand fluctuations for healthcare employees. Andy is a committed runner and while not running during his time off he remains close with his family and friends and enjoys playing golf with his Dad on the weekends. Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas Wesleyan University.
Brittni Armstrong
Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant for CornerStone Medical, Brittni provides the critical support needed to run our day to day operation. Brittni is in charge of candidate on-boarding ensuring that all healthcare professionals credentialing documents are relevant and in compliance for the specific position they are working. Brittni is originally from Memphis TN where she graduated from Remington College as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. She has worked in the medical field for many years in support roles such as medical assistant, medical receptionist, administrator and care giver.
Andrew Austin
Clinical Recruitment Manager
Andrew has been in the healthcare recruitment industry for 7+ years, specifically in Healthcare IT. Andrew is use to the high volume recruiting environment and thrives in communicating the needs of not only the client but also the consultant. Andrew excels in connecting with his clients and consultants alike on a personal and professional level in order to create a lifelong relationship. He is a native Texan who is obsessed with all Dallas, Texas professional sports teams and a self-proclaimed trivia whiz. Andrew is a proud father to his 4 year old autistic son Landon who he stays active with on the weekends. Andrew graduated from TCU in 2012 with a major in Sociology and Minor in Spanish. When he is not busy in the office, Andrew likes to run, workout and travel to different parts of the world with his significant other.
David McClanahan
Operations Manager
David has been in healthcare recruiting for 2 years, placing candidates in all areas of a Hospital/Clinic. He enjoys building strong relationships with his candidates/clients, while helping fill important assignments in his community. David is originally from Galveston, TX but relocated in 2005 to the DFW area to play Baseball in college. David graduated from Northwood University in 2009 with a BBA. He enjoys watching all of Houston sports team, playing Golf and spending time on the weekend with his family.
Mirielle Howze

Mirielle has always known that the healthcare industry was where she was meant to be. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2014 with a BS in Kinesiology. Post grad, she went on to further her education and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. However, she felt that her calling was to reach more medical professionals – which brought her to medical recruiting. She loves building and maintaining relationships with candidates and clients in order to find the perfect match for everyone. Mirielle stays active with volunteering for an animal rescue and spending time with her husband, dog and family & friends!
Chance Hornbeck
Clinical Recruitment Manager
Chance has over 6 years in the Healthcare Industry, working many different positions from CMA to Hyperbaric Technologist throughout both clinical and Hospital settings. Most recently he made the transition to healthcare recruiter, where he is utilizing his outgoing personality and love of giving back, to help others like himself throughout the Medical Field. Chance gained his skills in healthcare and business by obtaining a Bachelors in Biology then continued his education by earning a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Administration and Management.
As a Clinical Recruitment Manager, Chance is focused on providing the best possible experience for both client and candidate. He regularly builds and maintains strong relationships while helping to provide every candidate with the best opportunities possible. By having personal experience of what it’s like to work in the industry, Chance understands what it takes to be successful and is the perfect advocate to have in your corner!

Ryan Mahady is an accomplished Business Development Manager with over 13 years of experience. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech in 2016, focusing on Business, Communications, and Psychology. He has consistently demonstrated his expertise in building strong client relationships. With his keen understanding of customer needs and market trends in Dallas-Fort Worth, Ryan has successfully developed and implemented strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction and retention. Outside of his professional endeavors, Ryan has a passion for mixed martial arts, and spending time with family and friends.
